my tribute to moms..

her day..

so proud..

good guidance..

sunscreen, gotta have it..

inspired..

many things inspire me.. especially color; the outdoors; others' words; pictures; music; children! I could keep going..

yesterday was inspiring.. from the message by Lt. Patrick McClary, the scripture he used, the sight of 713 eager young men and women ready to face the world with a head full of knowledge.. but most of all I was inspired by the love and joy I found in seeing goals accomplished, families come together, and distinguished friends show support..

JP's a college grad! woohoo!! :)

standing out in the crowd...

how i spotted him..

those distinguished friends i was talking about...

family...

bro and sis.in.law..

mmm.. sweet love..

starfish..

Shane spoke at church Sunday and he told the Starfish story... about the man at the shore, surrounded by beached starfish, throwing them back into the water -one at a time.. and when a boy pointed out how they cover the shore and there's no way he could make a bit of difference, the man picks up another starfish, and throwing it back into sea and says, "it matters to this one.." (okay, so I didn't tell it just right; I was trying to keep it short)...

So the question was, Who is your starfish? ...I've been thinking about it ever since, and I know there are more out there, but here are a few of my starfish...

..this isn't so much a photo, but I thought worthy of posting... it's my Earth Day / Recycle t-shirt idea! :) ..I drew it, scanned it, and printed it on iron-on transfer paper, then ironed it on a tank top!! ..haha.. aside from drawing in pencil when I should have used a skinny sharpie, I was pretty proud of it.. <3 data-blogger-escaped-div="">

reflection..

everytime I find a new Blogger I think, man, I should really update this thing more (I love the running 'log' of thoughts/reflections/memories others have)... however, I'm a pen/paper journal-er, so I think I've got that base covered...

I was thinking yesterday how I'd like to keep a sort of photo-journal going, but I don't want to use/waste the INK with so much printing... sooo, what if I do it digital?? hmm, what a concept!! :) ...I may still stink at updating it on a regular basis, but I do love photos, so there's a chance I've found my motivation!! <3
