you know there's not too much going on when I'm taking pictures of produce-transportation..

it just struck me as kind of interesting to see the melons piled in the bed of this pick-up and an extra trailer for more.. wish I could have gotten a close-up, artsy shot, but this is the best I could do with a quick red light stop.. :)

a great project it's been, stretched out over many many weeks.. Thursday night I hand-stitched the inside seem... a little monotonous, but thankfully put me closer to the goal of finishing it up! <3

Dad's finally home from his 3 nights at the hospital! ...YAY!!

This week with the days of kayla-sitting and extra responsibility due to mom & dad being out of commission, I've been all the more aware of the sweet blessing of friendship!!

These two played until they crashed Wednesday night!

I love their laughter and creativity.. They put on fancy dresses so they could dance, made a fort out of blankets (I got to help! :) ..and made some pretty hilarious videos just for the fun of it!

Evening #2 playing big-sister-in-charge was better than good!

...there are no words to express my gratitude for these two who intentionally reached out and filled these evenings (while mom & dad were still at the hospital) with joy and friendship and good memories!!

Normalcy.. (Mon/Tues.6.29-30)

Mom took Dad to the ER Monday around 4pm..

What could have been a very worrisome night was met with great support..


And Tuesday morning, Kayla was in her normal breakfast spot with her cartoons and Lucky Charms..

It's frustrating to feel so helpless when someone's health/well being is on the line -especially Dad's- but it was a true blessing to get to help meet the Kayla-needs these days!
