the dresses are done!!!! (Th.3.11)

thanks to Joan our sewing teacher extraordinaire

the bridesmaids dresses are FINISHED!!!!! :)

all we had left to do this week was

put in the zipper & attach the lining on two

a little zig zagging in one...

and hem all three...

now all that's needed is a little steaming to get the wrinkles out!!!

shew! that's a load off!!

can't wait to see the girls in these dresses! ♥

and even took on some wedding-tasks!!

in between...

Life and time just keep going and going and never stop...

between joys come sadnesses and hard things

and we're expected to just keep trucking along.

which makes for hard days, weeks, and sometimes months

it's hard to slow down and process

and let some healing take place

but it's important and necessary

to take a little time

to be still and thoughtful

or talk to a friend ...for an hour if needed

to process the hurts, and share the joys

oh, life...

I think one of the things I'm looking forward to most in marriage is the togetherness we'll get to share ...at the end of each day... and in & out of all these up-and-down times...

thankful for this season

and looking forward to the next

and the next and the next....

with kinsey and jess...

We had a nice long lunch today with Mom & Steph's fam

for the purpose of deciding on some flower details..

we decided on candles too

details are not my favorite thing ever
