nuggets of wisdom...

I love the book of Proverbs because of its wisdom-nuggets.

I often feel the need to write through what I'm reading to help it stick.

In this case, by writing down the verses that stick out to me...
(Proverbs 12:4, 6, 7, 10, etc...)

Lately I've been working this little text dialogue system my ninth grade English teacher used to have us do... while reading we were to jot down text on the left side of the page, then share our thoughts/ questions down the right. Perfectly applicable for Bible study... :)

I especially like the second half of Proverbs 12:18
The tongue of the wise brings healing.
(Pretty sure that's why we have a voice. And I certainly want to use it.)
